Consumer advocate CHOICE says Adelaide “is ripe for installing solar and battery storage”.
In a wide ranging investigation into solar-battery storage, CHOICE writer Alison Potter reports that 2000 Australian households have already installed power storage systems.
Her report, published last week, singles out Adelaide as a “no-brainer” for this exciting new technology.
“South Australia’s high electricity tariffs, abundant sunshine and low cloud cover make it a good place right now to take up solar and storage,” she writes. “Add Adelaide City Council and the SA Government’s incentives of up to $5000 for energy storage, and it’s a no-brainer.”
Contact Energy Rating Systems and be pleasantly surprised about how the figures can add up for you.
Our 4kW solar-storage system can save a South Australian household of four people up to $2150 per year. The Australian average saving for this sized system is just $1500 per year.
